The GSA Class 5 Security Vault Door is produced to the exact requirements of Federal Specification AA-D-600D.  This specification calls for the door to be either a single swing or pair of doors having clear opening sizes of 1015mm wide x 1980mm high and 2000mm wide x 1980mm high respectively.  These doors are equipped with a Kaba-Mas electro-mechanical lock conforming to Federal Specification FF-L-2740 for Class 5-V applications.  All active leafs have an inside emergency escape device.  Doors are pre-hung in the frame and are designed for clamp-on installation to the vault walls.

The GSA Class 5 Security Armory Door is produced to the exact requirements of Federal Specification AA-D-600D.  This specification calls for the door to be either a single swing or pair of doors having clear opening sizes of 1015mm wide x 1980mm high and 2000mm wide x 1980mm high respectively.  These doors are equipped with a Sargent & Greenleaf mechanical combination lock conforming to Federal Specification FF-L-2937 for Class 5-A applications.  All active leafs have an inside emergency escape device.  Doors are pre-hung in the frame and are designed for clamp-on installation to the vault walls.

Overly offers an upgraded version of its GSA Class 5 vault door for those Class 5-B applications.  In addition to meeting the requirements of Federal Specification AA-D-600D, this door provides up to 60 minutes of penetration delay against battering attacks, and intense and concentrated hand tool attacks, and being able to withstand both 7.62mm and 5.56mm multiple shot ballistic attack without penetration per Department of State (DOS) specification SD-STD-01.01 Revision G. 

In many cases, a security vault door is needed that exceeds the size and/or other constraints of Federal Specification AA-D-600D.  For these instances, Overly offers the AR-5 Series of Security Vault Doors in either single swing or pair configurations.  It is important to note that although the AR-5 product is based on the approved GSA/DOS product, units of this type cannot bear the GSA labels due to the required changes to the base product.   Consult factory with your specific project needs.

For many applications, vault doors need to be equipped with day gates or day doors in order to meet additional project requirements.  In order to help meet these requirements, Overly has a complete line of day gates and day doors.  The day gates are available in standard, full height or dutch door configurations with additional options such as self-closing, issue ports and stainless steel shelves.  The day doors are available in hollow metal, acoustical, bullet-resistant and weathertight configurations for mounting on the vault door units back-frame.
