Tiger Door FRP manufactures Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic
(FRP) doors and allied products sold to door and hardware
distributors for resale to end users. Tiger Door FRP utilizes
independent manufacturers representatives to represent its
interests with door and hardware distributors. At the current
time, the principal products sold are Tiger Doors and frames,
the only FRP doors offered with a lifetime warranty against
delamination, corrosion and permanent thermal bow as defined
by industry standards for flatness. Tiger Door uses no aluminum,
no ferrous or non-ferrous metals, no wood, nor foam cores
in its product. In addition, our door product is produced
with press-molded technology to create an integral gelcoat
finish.
- 2002 - Tiger Door FRP, an Overly Door Company is formed
as the result of Overly Door Company acquiring Tiger Door,
Inc.
- 2000 - Tiger Door, Inc. becomes an independent company.
- 1998 - Composite Structures Inc. introduces a lifetime
warranty against delamination, corrosion and permanent thermal
bow as defined by industry standards for flatness.
- 1998 - Composite Structures Inc. adopted and registered
the trade name Tiger Door for its door product line.
- 1997 - Composite Structures Inc. purchases the door business
and product line from Fiberglass Technologies, Inc., Atlanta,
Georgia and moves the manufacturing to Omaha, Nebraska.
- 1984 - Fiberglass Technologies, Inc., Jonesboro, Georgia
purchases the FRP door business and product line from IMCO,
Inc. in New Jersey and relocates the business to Georgia.
- 1970 - IMCO Reinforced Plastics introduces one of the
first FRP doors under the name Forever Door.
